Grrr!
Need to let it out to those who understand the miserable situation...
I am so fed up of my wardrobe!
I absolutely refuse to wear my maternity clothes (plus they are too big) but my pre-preg jeans just dont want to know..by an inch!!
I use the hairband trick (back to being 3/4mths gone) on the jeans that are comfy elsewhere, a whole 2 pairs..and I have stacks.
My shoulders seem broader which I hate, my boobs are still a 34ff which on my size 10 frame look awful.
Normal clothes dont fit right, size 12 swamps me but 10 is a bit of a squash and a squeeze.
I have just chucked my entire wardrobe on the floor and I have a lot of clothes and nothing fits!
Im sick to death of the same thing. I hate hate hate leggings, they feel like the easy option.
OH doesnt get it. Says for having a baby 10wks ago I look great. He gets told to shut up!
Tells me to go shopping, but why? It is my shape, not my size.
I only just put on 2 stone but I have about a stone to shift.
I walk 3 miles a day, run 5 every other. It is driving me mad...
Rant over!

your doing fab for 10 weeks. My LO is 6 months and most of my jeans still dont fit :haha: With all that walking and running your doing I'm sure you will soon slip back into your old clothes. I know what you mean though, im not actually any heavier than pre preg, just a different shape. It is definately going back to normal now though x

I was 148lbs pre preg and size 7...now, at 174lbs and size 11/12, i hate it! i miss my old clothes. i couldnt sit/walk/stand up on my own the first 6 weeks (i only needed 3 stitches, but after pushing for 2 hours, and the nurse messing the stitches up i ended up with 37 and only 3 were supposed to be in...she had to keep taking em out) so i was so swollen i couldnt move alone. then we moved out of the city. no sidewalks here but people speed past. so i dont feel safe walking LO in his stroller. I am also expected to keep the large 2 story house SPOTLESS(and am ragged on when the house is a bit a mess) by OH and his stepmom. So I never get any exercise. I cant even get anyone to watch LO for an hour or two so i can go jog. So I have actually gained a few lbs since giving birth. I FEEL YOUR PAIN LOL

i'm the same as you. I'm wearing mostly leggings because my size 8 jeans i cant get past my knees, size 10s are too tight and size 12's fall off me!!! its been impossible for me to buy new trousers! i only have 1 pair of 10 jeans that actually fit because there baggy style! And i'm normally a size 8!
Plus my boobs are now a 34e, and they make my tops ride up my back! urgh! (not that i mind having bigger boobs!)
i've taken to wearing my only pair of jeans, support pants and bodysuits, to tuck myself in and to stop tops from riding up!

I was 56 kgs before getting pregnant (UK size 6). Was 84 kgs before delivery, & 76 after delivery. I couldnt fit my 7 mnths pregnancy pants. I was wearing my DH Pjs at home, & wearing my maternity pants when I go out with DH shirts. After 6 mnths I was 62-63 kgs & had to buy some new clothes. Now after 9.5 mnths I can wear some of my old outfits & some pants & 1 pair of jeans. My weight is 59 kgs. It takes some time hun. I had a CS & didnt BF so it was abit slow for me. I started by controlling my diet & walking. After 6 mnths I took execising seriously. Give it some time hun, if u have the will u'll loose it all before knowing. It takes 9 mnths to add & 9 mnths to loose it. xxx

:| why has this been moved to postnatal support? Not as many read these here...

anyway... I know how you feel.. Im bigger than I was pre pregnancy and NOT HAPPY!

In the few weeks after I had my LO i lost weight; now Im piling it all back on again. Im going swimming twice a week from next week. Dont let it get you down though.. it takes time x

hun im the exact same..just repleied to a similar thread....im actually considering applying for How To Look Good Naked lol and i hate even getting my pic taken let alone be filmed but i need help...im totally depressed about it....i have 3 pairs of jeans out of 35 pairs that fit :( refuse to buy clothes in the size i am just now...hate hate hate it! x

Well if you go shopping and get some clothes that fit your new body well you really will feel much better hun. If you are planning on dropping another size though I wouldnt buy too many new clothes because they wont fit for long! I would just go out and buy like 2 pairs of jeans just to make you feel better. Believe me when they fit and they arent too tight it will make you feel alot more comfortable and sexy!!

I feel your pain too! I managed to shed the 1 1/2 stones I put on throughout my pregnancy in a matter of 2 weeks!! Couldnt believe it and thought it was going to keep going until I was actually lighter than my pre pregnancy weight.! Hell no!
I gave up breastfeeding on week 4 :( the weight stabilised and just as I was getting out all my old pre pregnancy clothes found I was needing to go straight back into my dowdy maternity stuff as there are these problem bits, muffin tops, breasts gone all big but baggy! so all the old clothes were feeling tight in places.
This was a real bummer as not bought any new summer clothes this year and its only just starting to get cool again (thankfully). All my old summer clothes were useless I cant see myself ever getting into them again unless I do a serious excercise programme where these problem areas can get toned up.
Im the same about leggings as you. they are comfy and look great on the right people. But they just make me feel scruffy now, I used to love them when pregnant, but now they just look wrong!
Loads of things I've read say it takes 9 months for the body to strech that much so be patient as it could take that long to get back to how you want to be again..

I am right there with you! Its really depressing me at the mo not being able to wear what I want to wear. I would give anything to put back on my jeans but I know its not gonna be for a while :( Im sick of leggings and long tops
I exercise too but it just doesnt seem to wanna shift! Ive started a Diet this week in the hope of losing a stone by next month at least.

i am the same, pre-pregnancy, size 8, weight about 53kg, put on nearly 20kgs for the baby, now weight 63kg.
i am sick and tired of using my bellybelt so one week ago, I decided to get a pair, just one pair of new jeans, i fit size 11 :D it made me feel a lot lot better!
