Feeling sorry for LO

Poor little baby, she has her first cold - sniffles, runny nose and little cough. But I must have given it to her and now I've totally lost my voice, so I can't do my usual singing with her and reading to her. I've just had to put her in her jumperoo and under the gym. She seems happy enough.

Oh and to top it off my OH is away for the next few nights.

Any advice on her cold?

Ah - poor little thing. It's horrible to see them sniffly isn't it?

Lo had a cold a few weeks ago & here's what we did...

Elevated her cot at the head end to ease congestion
Put a bowl of boiling water in her room at regular intervals in the day to make sure there was plently of moisture in the air to ease congestion
Put vicks in the boiling water once before bed time to get it in the air
Used saline spray to clear her nose (she hated that though!)
Gave extra sips of water in the day
Lots of extra cuddles

I'm not sure tat's everything but hope it helps
