Hello my lovely ladies, this is completely off topic and just a way of getting things off my chest more than anything so feel free to skip!
I am a total emotional wreck tonight cos Jamie is starting school in the morning. To say he is excited is the understatement of the century and ive managed to act excited for him all day but now he's in bed im having trouble holding it together.
I just cant believe that my little boy is now a little man. He's only just turned 4 and seems so small to be going off to school. He's certainly ready for it but im just having a hard time letting him go. He's been by my side constantly for the last 4 years and is mummys little rock...he is my life!
Its just seems like yesterday i was coming home from the hospital after having him. All i can say to all you 1st time mums is cherish every single moment of when they are little as they grow up so fast.
If you've managed to get all the way to the end of my ramblings well done! I'll post a pic of my little man tomorrow morning all dressed up in his uniform
xxx
**UPDATE**: Well my little man is now at school, he was up at 6am singing 'we're off to big boy school' which continued all the way to school! As soon as we reached the school gates he said 'you dont need to hold my hand now mummy, im too cool for that'
Took him to his classroom, hung his coat up, turned round to say bye to him to find that he was too busy playing to say bye to me!
Im very proud of myself as i managed to hold back the tears until i got outside the school gates, where i proceeded to walk down the road sobbing like a tit on my own
Im now pottering about the house desperatly wanting 12pm to hurry up so i can see how his day went. Only 1 downside of the day...i cant find my camera anywhere, so hoping i find it today so i can get some pics of him looking all smart.
