Fell down the stairs!

Went to go to the loo at 3am and stupid me fell down 4 stairs! Ended up on all fours like a dog! OH came running down worried sick, LO has moved a couple of times since and have no bleeding so presume all ok. Its my knee that hurts the most and my back! Just feel such an idiot!!

Oh sweetie, keep a close eye on you and make sure you seek medical advice if anything out of the ordinary happens Don't feel stupid, it can happen to any one of us.

I will have practically been awake since checking for blood etc its hard waddling and limping now though!! Im ok in myself just tired and aching!!x

if you get worried give yr mw a call. however my neighbour fell over when preg too she landed on all fours and bubs was fine they have a lot of shock absorbtion in there !!

If you are worried at all call the labour ward, I had a little prang in my car and although there was no bleeding I was worried and I called them and they were so helpful and nice, I went in and they really put my mind at ease. Its worth it just to get some reassurance.

I'm sure that as long as you didn't land on your bump your LO will be fine. Keep an eye on things and go get checked if you're worried.

Hpe you are ok. I can totally appreciate how easily this could be done. The other night I bumped into the door handle in my bathroom, right on my bump, and it has left a wee bruise. I was half-sleeping when I went to the loo and obviously very clumsy!

Our babies are very well protected but if you notice anything unusual, please seek medical advice.

Thanx for all repliesxx All seems to be ok madam is moving not as much but has been bit quieter over last few days anyhow, no blood so another good sign, didnt land on my bump managed to get my right knee out and land on that hence the limping and huge graze!! Think most ive done is just strained a few muscles where i was stretching out trying to reach bottom step. Have decided i bloody hate having the toilet downstairs!!x

hope ur ok....when my mum was pregnant with me, she fell down the stairs, she said that that was the first tie she felt me move lol....glad theres no blood.....let us know if u decide to go in xxx
