Fentons procedure

Anyone had one?

I saw my gyn yesterday and he says I have a lot of granulation and scar tissue from my episiotomy (I had lots of stiches inside and out)

Basically he said it's very common and want to operate to remove it

I'm now waiting for another letter to confirm my date for surgery!!!

I'm hoping someone has had it done and can give me more info?

hey hunni i had this op in nov 09 when my first daughter was 11 months.
I didnt have an episitomy but a 3rd degree tear.
The op was fine went in at 8am lots of faffing about and waiting,finally had op at 11am and was home for 5pm.
It was painful afterwards sitting down etc but i was fully healed in 3 weeks
