Fertility drugs...easy to get?

How easy is it to be prescribed fertility drugs such as 'clomid'?

My doctor is usually quite dismissive...although having said that he did allow me to book an ovary scan straight away!

Hi again!

I was given clomid after one appointment & internal scan from my doctor, plus a comprehensive history was taken too.

It just depends on what route your doctor likes to take & your particular health/fertility issues.

If you're private & self funding they're often keen to prescribe it as its the cheaper option! ( in the sense that this option helps keep patient costs down)

A private prescription in Wales costs £10 so it's great!
