FET for baby number 3

Started buserelin today for my FET. I already have b/g twins after 3 rounds of IVF and now we are trying for baby number 3. I thought I was fine about it all but the minute I saw the needle I went all wobbly! All the old emotions came flooding back and for a moment I wasn't sure whether I wanted to go through it all again 😔 Anyone else doing FET and want to chat for mutual support?

Hi ☺ hope its going well for you! Im trying to get myself mentally prepared for ivf again and im afraid ill b having the same nerves as you when i start 😕 ivf/fet is a whole different world hey!

Hiya! Yes it is a whole other world and I hadn't realised that I bear emotional scars from my three previous rounds of IVF. I figured since my third cycle was successful I would forget about all the hassle and emotional rollercoaster but it all came flooding back!

Anyway I've done my FET and got a BFP but am having daily spotting so not sure which way this is going to go...

When are you thinking of starting your next round?

Yay congrats on the bfp! Hope the spotting sorts itself out and is nothing to worry about. Have you had a scan yet?
Not sure about when ill start..originally was thinking January. It will be when i can save up the money and feel mentally prepared 😕

No my 6 week scan is booked in for Monday and the clinic says there wouldn't really be much to see before then so I've just been waiting.

Have you got any frozen embryos or will it be a fresh cycle?

Good luck for the scan tomorrow😃 exciting! I still cherish my 6 week and 8 week scans of my dd 😆
We have 1 frozen embryo and some eggs and donor spern frozen. So hopefully will not end up having to do any fresh full ivf cycles for baby #2. Af arrived today so might call soecialist tomorrow to see if ahe wants to check me before starting next cycle. Im still breastfeeding and am told id have to stop if any meds r needed for a FET.
Have u been having any pregnancy symptoms yet?

Hey how did the chat with your specialist go?

My scan today was perfect! They can see no reason for all the spotting but said they will scan me again at 8 weeks.

I've had nausea pretty much 24/7 and am exhausted. Also strong smells make me feel sick! My twin pregnancy seemed easier in these early weeks!!!

Woohoo! That's great news with a perfect scan 😀

Hope the morning sickness stays bearable! Or even if you r one of the lucky ones with no sickness at all ☺ would make it easier to look after your twins!

I havent called specialist yet. Trying to work up the courage today

Morning sickness seems to be worse in the evenings at the moment...but not actually being sick so can't really complain!

Good luck for the phone call...it's not easy to take that first step!
