FF charters: FAM or Advanced setting?

Hi ladies - I've been using the advanced setting on FF the last few months but did some reading and it sounds like FAM may actually be more reliable? Thoughts?

Where do you go to change it on FF?

You go to settings --> detector override settings.

Advanced takes all symptoms into consideration, I believe, whereas FAM relies heavily on thermal shift but does seem to take OPK into consideration too.

I changed mine to FAM and the traffic light said I was possibly fertile but I haven't entered anything to suggest I'm fertile. Maybe it goes off previous month's data too? Advanced said I'm probably not fertile.

I've always just left mine at advanced but after I get a temp rise I'll change it and see what it says.
