FINALLY got a + on a OPK!!! Question:

Ok, so I know I had decided to switch to NTNP as I got burned out on all this TTC stuff (my cycles have been horibly irregular since coming off bcp in may) and missing my period and thinking I might be pregnant, but wasnt, and NOT getting anything on my OPK's for 2 months.. Burned out! So after a 55 day cycle, I decided I was done. If it happens it happens but I was a wreck! Not sleeping, stressing, crying, thinking I might not ever get pregnant, may be trying too late, maybe BCPs have messed me up, maybe this, maybe that blah blah blah!

Well I had about 10 opk's left over from that fiasco so I decided why not use them, and that way I could see if I actually was ovulating at all..

Well I tested this morning and it was negative BUT I noticed the second line was darker then usual (I am a pro at testing now lol) and I had read that sometimes ppl will get a negative, then miss the positive bcuz it happens so fast, so I just tested again and smiley face!!

I guess if anyone reads this whole long post through, I have a question.. or 2..

When should I ovulate? When should I BD? We did yesterday morning, but bf is at work and wont be home for 8 hours, is that ok? Or might I miss this schedule? Sorry guys for being annoying! All this has made me a little crazy lol.

Lol thank you I will. Its funny I must have subconciously known i was close to Ov bcuz I bought a bunch of new lingerie yesterday now i get to try it out! Hes not gonna know what hit him!

when you get your smiley face it usually means you will ovulate in the next 24-36hrs

aw good luck ladies! i got my first positive opk last month and was dead chuffed to get one again this month - it gave me renewed vigor during fertile week if you get my drift lol lol lol

yeah you ov anywhere between 12 and 48 hours after a positive opk but the most common is 24-36 hours xkx
