Today Kelana finally walked...like really walked. Horray!! It will still be awhile, I am sure, before she can walk places, but she took several steps unaided, several times tonight.:happydance:

awww well done! xx its lovely isnt! freddy was about the same age when he started walking! hes up and down and running around and everything now! she will be soon i'm sure xx

FUN!! Honestly, it took my guy 3 days to walk EVERYWHERE once he took his first few steps! So watch out! :)

Well, she still is in no hurry. I guess carwling is way easier. She will only do it if we set her up with someone standing really close...and then she will do her steps, wait for her applause, and then back to whatever else she was doing. lol

That's really cute. My son took his first real true steps one month before he was walking properly. There were three of them by himself. He would then take one step alone and then colapse and crawl to where he was going for a month. Once he took two steps, he was off like wildfire. It was three days later that he walked everywhere. So when I said, he walked quickly after, I guess it depends on what you consider true first steps or not. I consider that month his practise, then he started walking after that. lol

lol...yeah, she will stand up on her own, which is fairly new. Usually she grabs something or someone and pulls herself up, but now she plants her two feet down and slowly rises, and then she will rather shakily take a few steps and then slowly lower herself down to the floor to crawl. lol...but not very much AT ALL. She just prefers crawling I suppose. lol
