first doc appointment

i just made my first doc appointment its for next wednesday i will be 5 weeks, i am going to get them to do bloods and then get a scan booked for 6 weeks will i hear the heart beat by then? or should i wait until 7 weeks?

I've just had scan my early scan today, she told me i wouldnt get to hear it just see it. But seen little bubba with heartbeat.....i am 7 weeks today she said i measuerd 6w 5d but ive to stick with 7 weeks until dating scan. I'd say wait till 7 weeks if you could you might not see heartbeat at 6 weeks yet x

You can usually see the heartbeat from around 5-6weeks but you won't hear it for a while its too tiny.

Congrats on your BFP welcome and I hope you hear see ur bubbas HB at your early scan I saw my little mans at 6+2 but my cousin couldn't see her bubs until 7+5 xxx
