First doctor appointment today!!! So exciting!

I went and talked with the OB coordinator today. She gave me many handouts and I filled out some forms. We chatted about how things were going. She asked if I had any of the following issues: Cramping, unsure of date of ovulation, or spotting. I said yes to cramping and unsure of date of ovulation.

She said... Congrats that wins you an 8 week ultrasound. Yay! I'm so excited! I wasn't expecting an ultrasound until 12 weeks. What a pleasant surprise.

Then I peed in a cup. She said to confirm pregnancy and send for culture to rule out UTI.

Then they drew labs. 8 vials of blood!

I rescheduled my appointment for Nov 28. Will meet at 10 to go over my lab results and talk more about my history and what to expect.

Then at 11:30 I will have an ultrasound.

I'm so excited. And so thankful for this forum. I haven't told family yet so I'm glad I have you guys to share my excitement!!!!
