first hair cut

Took Savannah for her first hair cut today she is just over 2 and while it broke my hair seeing them cut some of her curls away it looks so much better and its alot easier to brush...
She was such a good girl she kept still and didnt cry once im so proud of her..
I was finding her hair getting so knotty and dry at the ends it really needed cutting and she still have her lil curls......

My LO has curls too but I haven't taken her to get trimmed yet.

Well done to your LO for being so good. Daisy freaks out if I mention her hair being trimmed at the hairdressers so she is yet to have her curls trimmed (apart from by me).

Kudos to LO

Curls can be hard to tame I'm naturally curly and I remember it drove my Mom crazy when I was little. Once, when my hair was almost down to my butt, she put it in a pony and chopped it off! LOL- giving it some style after of course. My Step-daughter also has very curly thick thick hair- it was NOT fun brushing when she was little! Always a struggle. So I see my Mom's point now haha. Shoot- I never told her that. I should have.

I will say I hope my LO get's curls... nothing so far... just an odd wave sticking out now and again. lol. She's doesn't have much hair yet

This happened to us last year personally I think it was partially the persons fault in the barbers as they kept telling him just a wee minute and was still going five mins later and it was just a bit too much for him. We changed hairdressers and the girl that does his hair is fantastic she has a wee boy slightly older than my LO so she knows exactly how to keep him happy and entertained. I also found it helpful to build it up telling him we're going to get his hair cut etc

I told her the day before we gping to hair dressers to get her hair cut she was wary at first butwhen we got there she was dragging me to go in and she sat down and thats where she stayed

Thank you... She is my lil princess... I could of cried when the hairdresser took the first snip but i think it could be my hormones lol
