Hi Chloe - I too found the HSG really painful, I can happily tell you my experience with IUI was completely different - like the others say, like a smear test although not even as bad as they do don't do the 'scrape'. I didn't feel the catheter being inserted or anything. I've only had it once and hoping to have round 2 next week, so FX'd it will be as easy!

Hey Everyone ... i had my first IUI on the 9th of june.. with an HCG shot .. pregnyl 10000 and Duphaston 20 mg daily for 2 weeks.. i should be ideally testing on 25th of june.. but no symptoms so far... 
.. i had sore breasts on and off.. n the colour of my nipples changed too... (TMI?).. also... today i felt light cramping when i woke up.. like AF coming .. my body temp was high when i woke up .. though i do not measure it but i could feel it.. but it could be the HCG shot playing the games too???

Hi Mash, what you are experiencing sounds like mine and I got BFP! I hope you can get yours soon too!!

Oh Wow .. congratulationssss.... this is happy news.. may u have a lovely lovely pregnancy ... 
I only had very mild cramping on and off and my nipples changed color. I had trigger shot and also on progesterone so I was not convinced with my BFP from POAS until my first blood test!
I am praying for you all girls!! Maybe some of you are already pregnant!!

I have recently been referred by my first IUI after trying for 5 years and been told theres an 18 week wait or may have to wait till i'm 23. But can someone go through the IUI process as it what happens and what's this about injecting yourself??? It must be tough huh! Can't wait for my turn.... dunno if it will happens might opt for private treatment instead! advice anyone???/

My first IUI didn't work unfortunately
AF arrived yesterday - was different this time - no spotting for a couple of days like normal - just straight into it. Must be the HCG shot as not doing anything else differently to other months.
