First kick and gender scan

Two nights ago i felt the "quickening" i wasn't sure if it was what i thought until last night. I was laying in bed and feeling my belly when i felt a kick! I thought i was crazy then it happened again stronger. Baby kicked about 4 or 5 good kicks in the same spot! I was so excited but afraid to yell out to fiance who was getting ready for bed (i know baby hears me, didn't want to scare the kicks away)... Today we go to our anomaly/gender scan. I'm so excited to find out which of the names we picked is going to be our baby's. my son or my daughter!! Wish me good health and happy baby everyone. I'll post pictures when we get back. YAY!

I've just recently started getting kicks that - literally - take my breath away...not painful at all, but startling! DH thinks it's hilarious 'cuz he can always tell by the look on my face when Baby gives a really good kick!

aww im so happy for all you expecting mums to be getting big kicks, iv have little feelings here and there and sometimes quick movements, but no hard kicks.. crossing my fingers it comes soon x
