First period after birth control? (Depo shot)

It took me 8 months to get any type of period back and 14 months to get regular cycles, 32-34 days.

We're still TTC and I've been regular now for 5 months.

I've read for some people it happens right away but I still wasn't ovulating even though I got periods. I'm on my 2nd round of clomid now.

Can I ask what birth control you was on? I hate the stuff I'm seriously planning on never going back on any type of birth control.
