First period pp

DS was 8 weeks old on Wednesday and same day I started bleeding and was sure that it was the start of my period. It was only light, heaviest day was Friday but nowhere near as heavy as it used to be pre-pregnancy, and as of yesterday it's practically gone
I do have some cramps and pain in my legs but hardly anything, I was told your first period pp was really heavy so what could it be? I stopped bleeding about 5/6 weeks pp.

I got mine at 6 weeks PP exactly. It was also lighter than my pre-pregnancy periods were. It lasted longer than normal (8 days) I stopped postpartum bleeding at around 2/3 weeks.
