Hi everyone, this is an update from an earlier post.

I took 4 first response tests from the day of missed AF (6 days ago), the lines were so faint that i had to hold the tests under a light to see them, they just didnt seem to be getting any darker!

Went to the doctors today with my tests, put them on his desk and all he did was glance at them and went 'yes, they are positive'. I was in so much shock!!!! I asked for a blood test just to make sure so i have that on monday.

I just couldnt stop smiling! Walking out of the doctors office people must have thought i was some crazy woman... smiling all the way home :D

I've just been so worried that I have all the symptoms and the faint line but it's all been in my head!!!

Has anyone else had the same problem with first response tests, just staying so pale day after day?!

This is my first pregnancy so i'm not sure what to expect....

Thanks everyone :)

yes, line still very faint! Not quite sure what to make of it, the doctor didnt seem to concerned though....

Have you tried a digi x Sometimes it depends on the amount dye in them x but I won't lie I have had 2 chemicals am the lines never got any darker I really hope this is not the case for you x got everything crossed your lines get darker xxx

gl hun, I want to know! hehe yay for bfp! :D

Just an update, had very bad stomach pains last night and started bleeding early this morning. Went from slight spotting to very heavy in a matter of minutes. (sorry if tmi). Have been told to sit with my feet up and rest for a couple of days and if it doesnt get any lighter or gets heavier then to go to A&E. Spent a lot of the morning in tears, this was my first pregnancy, i was 5 weeks and 1 day.

Thank you everyone for your advice and support the last couple of weeks, I really appreciate it :)

Aw I'm so very sorry x With my early losses I had heavy bleeding but only for 1day didn't last nearly as long as af hope it's same for you x sending yoh hugs and strength xx

hopefully the bleeding is nothing <3 praying for you :hugs:

so sorry hun :hugs: keep us updated... thinking of you :flower:

Sorry hun, it is very heart breaking :( Early miscarriages are so common though, there's no reason at all to think you won't go on to havea long, healthy pregnancy..very soon :) With my miscarriage in December I had 2 days of really heavy bleeding, but then it got much lighter and the whole thing only lasted another 2 days of spotting. FX it's over fast for you and you can start trying to move on. It really does get easier!
