We went for our first scan today, which was amazing. Our little peanut measured 1.8 cm and we heard and saw the heartbeat. I was so relieved!
One thing the dr said that was really common that she saw was there was a small amount of blood behind one section of the gestational sac, she said it was still attaching fully to the uterine lining, and that it happens all the time, that it might bleed out at some point in the next 4 weeks or it might not bleed out, I guess just go away? She did say to not have intercourse (which we haven't had anyway, because of my gut feeling wanting to wait until our first dr appointment) and to not have any high impact exercise, which I haven't been doing.
Does anyone else have experience with having this and was everything ok?? It is the only thing that makes me slightly uneasy about the appointment.
Thank you!!
