first scan on friday..

i have my first ultrasound on friday and im really nervous...

i had a midwife appointment on march 10th and she felt for my uterus and said it felt about 16 weeks but she couldn't find a heartbeat...

ever since then i just havent felt pregnant at all and really cant imagine being a mum...especially right now but it's all i want. I am just so scared i will be told i have had a missed miscarriage.

Has anybody else had these feeling and found out everything was okay??

i know exactly how you feel hun, i think everyone worries in the same way. try and remain positive, i haven't felt pregnant since all of my symptoms disappeared at 8 weeks but i know i am. good luck hun and let us know how it goes! hope to see some lovely pictures here next week of your little baby xx

Hi hun,

My symptoms stopped at about 11 weeks. I remember being really worried about it at the time. I had my first scan at 11 +6 and I was so convinced that the midwife would ask why I was even there as I wasn't pregnant in the first place!!!

I think it's impossible to not worry when you are pregnant.

Had scan today and it couldnt have gone better!! As soon as screen was turned to me beanie waved and then went shy and when sonographer tried to get good pictures beanie decided to show off and do sidewards roly poly's in there haha!! Couldn't believe all this was going on inside me and i would have betted money on it being bad news - SOOOOO glad i was wrong!! They put me at 14 weeks 0 days so am due 24th september!! So pleased and managed to get pics in the end and i cant stop looking at them - will upload them later!! Got 5 pics when i was only meant to have 2 - am on cloud 9 right now!!!!! =D Got my anomoly scan on 10th May as well only 45 days to go haha

Hiya, You'll be fine! me and one of my friends are pregnant at the moment n both of us didn't feel pregnant at all for the first wee while! i was convinced i'd walk in to my first scan n be told there was nothing there x you'll be ok x
