First scan today!

Not much to report really but just really wanted to share our excitement. We had our first scan today and were totally blown away by the whole experience! Seeing the little heart beating for the first time and waving their little arms around. I never thought they would be so mobile and fidgety this early on. I just stared and stared at the screen in utter amazement. After all the confusion we've had over our dates we've finally got something a bit more solid to work with. We've been given an estimated due date of April 10th making us 9 weeks and 4 days (pretty much exactly what I thought!) and somehow that just makes it so real! We're so excited right now and just needed to let it out a bit!

I've been beaming all day! There is just something so amazing about seeing your very own little jelly bean for the first time!

Congrats! We had a tear in our eyes when we saw the heart beating away! its stunning and im sure they had heard it a trillion and one times but Husband asked "if he could take the machine home!"

It is just so amazing! Odd to see it moving around and waving their arms and legs but not feeling it! I can't waiting to feel those flutterings later! Oh the miracle of life (just to sound cliched!)

I know i've been wondering ever since what trick our bean has been doing inside me that I cant feel yet! oh for the days when we can feel it all!

I think it will hit us even harder when we can actually feel them in there! Can't wait!
