I'm 30 years old - no kids - and just stopped taking my bcp (generic orthotricyclen). I stopped after 1 week of pills even though I should've probably finished out the pack before stopping them! We are not actively trying - I'm not charting or anything, but we're not using any protection now. I've always had irregular periods, so I know that getting pregnant may take awhile...but we're not quite ready to actively ttc.
The last time I was off the pill was in 2010 - I charted my cycle that whole year and only had 7 periods. I'm healthier now and hoping that maybe my cycle has worked itself out!
