I have decided to FF as LO wont take to breast and I can't meet his demands by expressing, its just not filling him up.

I was wondering how people went about organising feeds for when they are out (eg shopping etc....)??

I made a fresh feed as I left the house and put it in a bottle warmer but it only stayed warm for about 2 hours (despite the warmer saying up to 4 hours ) I am worried if I am caught out longer than expected and LO starts getting grisly and hungry, what to do about feeds.

Advice really needed as I am restricting myself to quick trips out in fear he has a major fit on the bus and I look like a rubbish mum

I usually take one in a bottle warmer, then take another measure of formula and an empty bottle. I boil water and put it in a flask, stays hot for hours. I usually end up cooling the water down before I give my lo her bottle.

My LO has room temp feeds so I just add the boiling water and take a lil tub of powder and by the time she wants it it's cool :)

xx

I've just been using ready made cartons when we go out, I keep a couple of cartons in his change bag then pop a couple of bottles in before we leave the house. I also have the TT travel bottle warmer which is like a flask thing that i can use to warm the feed. We don't go out for that long usually so it's been fine. If we were going to my mums I would just take the tub of powder and make his feed there like I would do here.
