Fish?

This might be a really stupid question but can babys have fish? My LO is 7 and a half months old and he had some salmon steak the other day and love it I bought some diffrent fish today for him and checked on google if he could have it and it says they shouldn't eat any fish untill a year!? Is this right? Little bit worried now! Xx

ive given my LO white fish. im pretty sure its shark and marlin they cant have, the same as when your pregnant? x

Ahh great thanks for that, I bought some sole for him so I presume that's ok then? That's why I gave him the salmon because it has it in the jars then I worried myself after Reading that lol thanks girls xx
