We've been lucky and, although it's not stopped raining since 1pm yesterday, we're okay here. But DH is a greenkeeper, and he's been to work this morning and the golf course is underwater!

I've just been watching the news and people have been stuck for 12 hours on the motorways! And in one place, there are 20,000 cars just stranded!

What is happening with the weather???????????

I hope everyone else is okay and no-one has been flooded out.:hugs:

OMG we are lucky where i live thats all i can say x

those poor ppl tho my heart goes out to them

The weather latley is just madness! Im glad i live up the top of a hill

looking at all the places that are flooded we are extremly lucky because we have no major rivers here or anything, but we are in a dip so if it was to flood wed be pretty stuffed :(

Feel for anyone who has been caught up in this mess :(

It was on the News this morning over here. Hope you are all safe!

My mum is in the thick of it where they are in telford ....

River 7 at bursting point and most routes in and out of the place are closed :(

xxx

This weather is so so tragic. Im terrified of flooding. We had it really bad up here last month, touch wood, we escaped it.

I have just heard on the radio that premature twins from Tweksbury (sp) have died after they were rescued from their home. Now thats tragic.

i am in gloucester, we have no water but have power, there is water everywhere, people fighting over water.
