Floods, wanting to help raise money

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone new how I would go about raising money for the pakistan floods. I am sick of seeing it on the TV with all those poor children and that they just aren't getting enough help, aid, food, water, money and clothing. It makes me so sad to think children and babies of my sons age is dieing. So i want to organise raising money. Even if I just stand in my town centre and grab people passing by. every little helps. Anyone know how I can organise this? Any advice please, many thanks Katrina
