Floppy windpipe

My LO is 5 weeks and just got "diagnosed" with this. Just curious if anyone else has dealt with it?

Our struggles were suspected reflux, poor sleep, and extremely noisy eating. I noticed that her neck flapped inwards when she breathed occasionally. We had a dr appt and she said that's probably what it is. I guess it can range in severity, so we just have to wait and see if it gets better or worse over the next few weeks. We're going to see a specialist in a few weeks if it doesn't seem to be improving.

I think my friends baby had this, don't know any detils but he did have areally strange cry, very high pitched. It sounded like he was shrieking all the time! I don't know of any other problems he had, but I do know he grew out of it x

Keep an eye on it because my friends baby (who is 2 weeks) was diagnosed with this when he was struggling to breath. It got worse over the course of the week and has just had emergency surgery to have cyst removed from his throat that was growing too big.

He is fine although in nicu now, but I am not alarming you just making you aware xxx
