Well im due my flu jab in a couple of week and i just wondered has anyone had it while being pregnant and have they had any side affects and does it affect baby in anyway??

I had it in first tri and it didn't affect me at all, and I have a healthy little girl :D
 
I had it in first tri last time and my little boy is and was very healthy.
 
I was wondering the same thing we got the e-mail in work for everyone to attend
Thanks for the replies i think i will get it i dont fancy the flu while preg!
 
yep its safe , they offered me the flu shot at my first ob appointment , I didnt get it though because my mom told me she got sick after she had hers done .
 
I am a nurse and in the past have been the person giving the flu shots. It is supposed to be totally safe especially in 3rd trimester.. mine is due for the winter but not going to take it have not taken any drugs etc... at all through my pregnancy so not going to take an injection. I am sure it is perfectly safe but i am so not getting mine which will piss off my workplace but....
