Flu jabs (H1N1)

So it's that time again when they're calling people in for flu/swine flue jabs.
I was priority before b/c of my multiple sclerosis but I've not had a jab for the past 2 years as each yea I had it the injection site hurt me for weeks and I've mixed feelings on their safety.

I just wondered will you guys be getting the jabs?

I mentioned it on the other thread, but I'll be getting it.

I get a little burned out on the whole anti-vaccine movement as there is little to no proof of anything and half the information they put out is total BS. Yet there is proof that the diseases they vaccinate against kill.

I'm in the at risk category because i have asthma and have had pnuemonia twice, i was thinking about the flu jab the other day and googled it apparently there is a safe one for pregnant ladies so i'm going to speak to my dr to make sure the one i'm offered is safe before i make a final decision although i suppose i should just get it if dr says its safe i'm guessing pnuemonia in pregnancy would be much worse x

Many docs do just insist its fine and jab you without doing the research, but you do have to trust your doctor at some point about some things. And the research you can find online may not be as reliable as the information he has.

I'd personally trust the doctor but make sure you have a trustworthy doctor first!

I don't trust doctors to make my decisions for me.. best to research things for yourself...

im undecided, but only coz my father and sis both have had bad reactions to jabs before. but i will see what my doc says !!

i wont get the shot. both me and dd had confirmed h1n1 last winter, ds never got it. we are okay, lots of coup, garlic and onion
