Flu Shots?

It's almost flu season! Dun dun dun.
Silly question buuut... Are we supposed to get flu shots? They're going to be available soon so I was just wondering. I had swine flu last year and those were the worst 3 weeks of my life! I lost 17lbs going from 97lbs to a scary 80lbs and if I got the flu right now that would be so bad for LO! But is it "okay" for us to get our flu shots? At least what's nice this year is they are combining swine flu and the other two types of flus together in one shot! I wonder if our pregnancies will make us "priorities" and we get our shots first?

I know in the uk, last year when they were giving out flu shots that pregnant women were a priority but i dunno if its the same over there hun sorry.

General pregnancy makes you a priority. If you're interested in it I'd mention it to your doctor/MW and they should be able to get you on a list for it.

Have you had a flu jab before? If not I wouldn't recommend it.
I had a flu jab years ago, I get priority because I'm asthamtic. After how ill it made me there's no way I would ever have one again. I was off school for over a week I was SOOO ill. I'd have been better off getting the flu!
This is just my personal experience, if you want it, go for it, but be cautious.
