So I'm about to fly home to visit my dad and I was just wondering what all I need to bring besides her diaper bag and clothes for the trip I was wondering about the stroller how I can lug that on to the plane I'm just overwhelming myself on what all I can bring and what I can't any advice will be very appreciated......:flower:

Hi

You can gate check a car seat and a stroller, and have a carry-on, personal item AND a diaper bag in the cabin.

I brought a dummy, even though he didn't take one, for him to suck so his ears would be ok. And he took it then. A blanket, diaper bag w/ normal stuff, and a few toys. OH and a camera! You won't want to miss out on the photo op! Don't be afraid to ask the flight crew for wings! Liam has his jet blue wings from his first flight :cloud9:

I found most people were super nice and helpful. (I flew without DH then). And I BFed about 5 times during the flight and no one said a word to me. Not even a mean glance. :)

Awesome! I was racking my brain on how to carry all that stuff, so do gate check the car seat and stroller each time you connect to next flight? At least I know there won't be a fuss about the feeding I was nervous about offending someone.

Agree with everything above! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. I had the dummy in hand just in case Phoebe got bothered on take off and landing; she actually fell asleep on the take off and landing from the rumbling. I would recommend using one of those dummy clips and attaching it to LO if you can. Phoebe spit hers out and it landed on the gross airplane floor. Thankfully we brought a spare.

I also brought my sleepy wrap (baby carrier). When we were walking through the airport I was wearing Phoebe and put all of the stuff in the stroller and then pushed it so I didn't have anything to carry. I selected the window seat which gave me more room to BF which was helpful. No one said anything negative and we actually got compliments on having such a good baby. Good luck with your flight! I flew with Phoebe at 8 weeks and was so nervous- she did great though and I'm sure your LO will do well too. We are flying to the US from Germany on Friday which is 8 hours in the air plus airport time and hoping to have a repeat experience.

We just bought one of those baby harness deals and I was going to use that to carry her around in, that helps ease my mind so much thank you very much ladies and good luck to you also on your flight also
