Folic acid causes sore boobs?

I'm 8 dpo and my boobs have been killing! They normally only ache a little for a few days before af (due 15th) but they've been hurting a week now already.

I started taking folic acid at the beginning of this cycle, is it because of that?! Because I can't cope with this every month if I'm not pregnant! 😬

Sore boobs after O are usually caused by progesterone...I highly doubt it's the folic acid doing it!

Folic acid will not cause side effects like that. Only about 20% of the folic acid is even absorbed and used by your body. Progesterone causes PMS symptoms and the really early pregnancy symptoms.

Ahh ok. I never have sore boobs not long after O and the only thing different this month is the folic acid so wondered if it could be that. Far too early for preg symptoms but is it a good sign I have more progesterone than usual this cycle?
