....which foods/drinks would you miss the most?

Ive been in Morocco for the past 4 weeks and i am majorly craving Wotsits, Double Deckers, Dominos Pizza, Peanut Butter on toast, Crumpets, Baked Beans and Walkers Crisps...The crisps out there taste like cardboard

I raided the supermarkets, but they have none of the above over there for sale - I was starting to get faint toward the end of week 2 :haha:

You...

Everything.. I'm such a fussy eater, I went on holiday to Spain and only ate one meal a day which was breakfast, because there was loads of fresh fruit and bread

I miss walkers prawn cocktail crisps (I make my mum bring over loads whenever she visits), blackjacks, pork scratchings, decent gluten free breadsticks and thorntons chocolates.

Damn, I think a holiday to England is in order!

I'm really fussy so I'd probably end up living off oven chips if I ever left england for good. Food I'd miss the most would be: cadbury's chocolate, warburtons bread, walkers crisps, pizza hut, Heinz tomato ketchup, and chips from a good old British fish and chips shop. That's all I can think of right now.

Poutine :) It`s kind of funny, I never eat it really, but EVERYTIME I go to the States for a weekend or few days, I want a poutine lol.

i moved to germany and really missed asda hahaha
i missed sweets, crisps, alcho pops and choc that i like that they didnt sell but fortunatly i was able to go to the naffi (army shop) where they sold british food at high prices tho :(

I miss poutine SO much :( But you just can't get cheese curds over here for love nor money! I actually looked into making my own because I was desperate  I know some people suggest that the likes of mozzarella can be used instead, but it's not *quite* the same. And it doesn't squeak if you nick some as you're putting together the poutine

When I lived abroad I missed cheese and onion walkers and slices of bacon. Oh, and proper strong tea...that's about it!

When I was living away from home I missed Nambarrie tea the most and made my sisters send loads of it over! And the chocolate isn't too great abroad either :( I still have to send my mate Wispas to where he lives in Barcelona and my sister Oxo cubes to America :)

Lol, the cafeteria at my high school used to make their poutines with this dark, thin (beef I assume) gravy and a lot of mozzarella cheese. OMG it was sooo good. If you can score "pizza mozzarella" it's generally stringier and better for poutines too.

Here cheese curds I guess you'd find at the farmer's market, sometimes at the grocery store... maybe if you get in touch with a local dairy farm they could steer you in the right direction? :)

I lived in Switzerland for a while & I missed... Proper bacon & proper sausages, vimto, cadbury creme eggs.

Now I'm back in the UK I miss Rivella ( a slightly fizzy pop type drink made from milk protein - sounds gross but is yummy!!!) and schoggigipfeli - bit like croissant but stuffed full of chocolate praline with chopped nuts on top - a pain au chocolat dowsn't come anywhere near close, neither do those choc twist pastries

Milk  & cereals

I don't drink milk when I'm traveling it tastes different even in cereals.

I googled Poutine - It looks...interesting

How long are you staying in Morocco hun? What are popular foods there?

I would miss a decent cuppa tea and not sure what else. I eat a range of foods x

Me and OH are planning on moving to spain in a few years or so and I will miss everything. I will have to take like 2 suitcases of food with me and get my mum to send me over loads more once I have run out. I am such a fussy eater!!

When I went to Corfu with my mum, we got drunk and ended up making the receptionist at our hotel ring around for a chinese takeaway for us lol!! unfortunatley they didn't have any :( and I missed cocktail sausages so much xx

Ive already been and come back hun - I was there for the last month.

They have tons of Nestle stuff, yoghurts/juices are popular too....But over there its all about fresh fruit and veg rather than convenience foods which im ever so slightly addicted to

Unfortunately i am a fussy eater and so when im out there i always often miss meals for days on end if its not something i like, i always feel to rude asking for something else to be made just for me, so i prefer to just go out and buy some snacks.

Oh ye, totally forgot about tea, i did miss tea too :)

Hope you had fun x would love to stay somewhere and see how they live/eat but would miss home comforts :D

That's the same as me, oh's family really love their food and unfortunately I'm quite the opposite. They always ask me what I'd like for dinner but I always feel rude getting them to make me something else or change their dinner plans just for me (plus I never know what I want anyway) I know they don't mind but I do iykwim.
