We live in Ohio but are in Michigan for the holiday weekend. Christmas Day I woke up feeling fine. MIL made me scrambled eggs, and poured me a pint size glass of milk, of which I drank it all. Then I slept most of the day. When I woke up my stomach was feeling weird.
Woke up to go to party at husband's aunt's house. I had a small glass of cider and a salad that just had sliced tomatoes. Did not drink or eat anything else.
By the time we were driving home I was having contraction like cramping. I laid down. Periodically I would surf the net to see if this was normal.
An hour later I told hubby I was going to be sick. Went into the bathroom and I didn't just vomit, it was projectile vomit. Seriously, it was like the scene out of the Exorcist. Stumble out of the bathroom, beg hubby to clean up my mess and lay down on the bed. I was sick until nothing was left.
Within 5 min. I felt fine. Severe cramping and sickness almost completely gone. Poor husband was a trooper and took 30 min to clean up my mess (in my daze I missed the toilet by quite a bit, ugh). He said it looked like I threw up just the salad.
The cramping did come back, but less severe. Now I am just thirsty and can't sleep. I am worried about LO, but hubby seems to think it was probably the salad and lack of hydration.
I am going go get a hold of my doctor as soon as I return, but is this cause for worry?
Unfortunately I cannot tell the difference between the stomach cramps and cramps associated with the pregnancy.
Trying not to worry.

Edit: I apologize for the poor grammar, I am on my phone and mentally not with it.

It sounds like food poisoning which can get really horrible when you're pregnant. Keep yourself hydrated and rest as much as you can, in the UK you can get something called Dioralyte which rreplacesyour electrolytes when you're sick, maybe your OH could see if he could get you something similar?

Hope you feel better soon

Thank you so much. I woke up this morning feel a lot better, but stomach is sore the way it gets after fighting a stomach bug all night long. I am also dying of thirst. I am scared to eat anything, lol. A part of me is worried about the baby, but hubby seems to think the baby is fine and well protected. Pregnancy is way too stressful on me. :(

Yeah, sounds like food poisoning, or possibly a stomach bug. Both are very unpleasant, but shouldn't be at all harmful to your unborn baby.
Try to eat and drink what you can, especially staying hydrated. Someone mentioned Dioralyte, which would really benefit you and is pregnancy safe.
Hope you feel better soon!

I get the stomach bug like crazy when I'm pregnant. The most recent time sent me to the hospital for iv fluids and anti neausea meds. But the baby now and my daughters before have been always fine as long as you stay hydrated :)
