When Elsbeth walks she seems to have her foot turned outwards slightly, does anyone elses toddler do this, or did this?

Is it normal?

I've noticed this with my little girl, its only one foot though so I'm going to speak to the health visitor about it. Her dad walks like this too!

I guess it's normal, when Omar started walking, his left foot used to turn outwards, he used to walk in a funny way. He took 1st steps few days before his birthday. At around 15 months he started to walk in a proper way xx

Its only when she walks to, when she's just standing they're forward facing!

I haven't seen my health visitor since january, i thought they were supposed to do a 1 year check too!

I last saw my HV at 9 months and she said the next check was at 2 years old, but we can go to a group which is on each week to see the HV/nurses if you need to.

Have it checked, because I had my left foot turn in when I was born, and it still does. My tibia bone is curved. I don't trip over it or anything :p but it could have been corrected early on with a cast.

Abigails right foot turns outwards and she drags it slightly too. She has seen a physio about it and they arent worried. They said that structurally its fine but the muscles are a little weak on that side. If they consider any treatment it will be corrective shoes.

She has to go again in October cos they wanna keep an eye on it. We went to HV when we first noticed it. She sent us to GP then GP sent us to physio.
