I've been stressing about mc after an early loss in march but just found two articles claiming if you have previously seen babies hb then the risk of mc drops to 0.4%!
This has reassured me greatly, just thought it may help some of you ladies too x

:) thanks for that!!! its definitely reassuring!!! does hearing the baby's hb count too? :hugs:

(still waiting for a scan! :( )

Also if u have had less than 3mc then ur chances of having another are no higher than someone who has never had one before. Apparently everyone will have at least one in their lifetime, lots of ppl just dont realise they've had one.

Thanks hun... I keep telling myself these statistics. It does help xx

ur bound to be worried but try to think on the bright side, everyone worries through the first tri! good luck x

I keep worrying too, but I like that stat. I saw/heard the hb at 8wks and I'm 10wks on Friday, so hoping, hoping, hoping everything will be okay. x

Me too I saw hb at 7+2 so fingers crossed! 12 days till 12 week mark whoop whoop!

I hear my babies hb a few times a week on our doppler, so thats very reasuring
Thanks for this.

Thanks so much! That's the best statistics I've seen so far. We heard the heartbeat 2 weeks ago and I was thinking it sounded a bit slow, enough to think maybe that was actually my hb through the placenta. Today the scanning lady said she saw the heartbeat at around 170 bpm which made me much happier.

So, if the statistics is already that low at 10 weeks with heartbeat, is it safe to tell people officially about our pregnancies?
