I've recently had my first child and wow, I am so in love, I have adored everything about it really right from pregnancy to birth (apart from a super hard time with breastfeeding). Samuel was so...well, WANTED. When I found out he was a boy at my scan, it just put the icing on the cake too, as given a choice, I would have prefered a boy. He really is my perfect little boy.:cloud9:

I'm undecided on having more children. I was keen on having a boy as I said above, but if this child had been a girl-fab! However had it been a girl, I would have been more keen to try for another baby if you see what I mean. in the hope that maybe I would get a boy someday too.

I feel like I have what I wanted, and he is fantastic.

As this baby was a completely new experience, everything was so totally special and extremely exciting. The scans, sharing the news, buying things...everything so new and brilliant and it continues to be so each day. I feel really worried that for a second one, it would never beat that feeling. I feel guilty even saying it! I'm already feeling guilty in advance that the second pregnancy wouldn't come with such a fuss :-/ Did anyone find this with second, third etc?! Or was it all just as brill? Please don't judge this... it's curiosity xx
