for those who have had growth scans*update pg 2*

anyone had a growth scan?

fi so how long did you have to wait for one after they told you you were going to be having one??

I've been waiting nearly a week now for my date and still not got it :/

i went to the doctor on tuesday and he mentioned setting up a scan and i asked for it that same day and had it. you could just call and ask for one on a day that you want it

He said that the date for it would come in the post.
But I've still not received it.

At my 20 week scan, lo was 4 days behind. When i seen my ob at 22 weeks he gave me a referal then and there for 32 weeks to see how she is growing.

i was REALLY lucky, they had a cancelation and i had one the day they told me they were sending me for one
But that's just me lol. xx

I waited 2 weeks for a letter then a week for scan had a 32 week growth scan.

hmm so if the same if for me, I'll be 35 weeks by the time i get my scan?

I had my 25 and 29 week growth scans booked from 12 weeks and then from 29 weeks i had them booked for every 2 weeks and i knew the date and time of them all from 29 weeks

Id phone the hospital, JIC the letter has gone astray.

My growth scans (28 + 34) and anomoly scan (20) were booked at 12 weeks I had the letter a couple of days later

I had quite a few and my next one was always booked after I'd had the previous.

Just went to reception and they made another appt.

Give them a call hun, if ones been processed/booked they'll be able to tell you, maybe your letter has just gone astray x

Does everyone get growth scans? I had a scan at 6 weeks - because I wanted an 'a' at first - then one at 16 weeks because it was the first time I could get booked, then the anomoly and gender one at 19 weeks. I haven't been offered any more since :/

no its only in certain situations.

I've been told I need one as I keep measuring small :/

Some people get them for measuring big aswel
