For those who have had long cycles before...

Did any of you notice differences in af once it returned. Last year I went 5 months without af, turned out I was low on vit d, it eventually came back naturally.

Did anyone notice a difference in consistency once it returned? I have had it back for 5 cycles now, but they seem very slimy with lots of tissue (pink and grey) being passed. Do you think this could be related to the lining building up for so long?

Any thoughts are appreciated

AF went missing for 3 months after I quit birth control. It came back on its own and seemed pretty normal- 5 days of regular flow. That was 31 days ago...still waiting to see if it comes back again or will be away for 3 months again....

Hi lolasmith. I have really long cycles and have even had AF go MIA for 12 months once for absolutely no reason! Often when this happens, the first AF after it returns is quite heavy and painful but I have never passed grey tissue. I wonder if it is worth seeing your doctor? I am sure it is nothing, but perhaps it is better to just be safe
