For those who know about private scans...

I was just wondering if you have a private scan do you still get your 12 and 20 week NHS one or is it a case of once you go private you can get NHS scans?

yes you do get your nhs scans as your entitled those scans regardless

yeah even if you have private scans you are entitled to your nhs scans, i was asked this today at my work, and yes i work for the NHS, hope that helps xx

Ok thanks ladies. All I need to do now is convince my H that we NEED an early scan! I'm sure by the time I am 8 weeks I will have convinced him.
