Forgot Clomid This Morning!

Hi,

Like an absolute idiot, this morning as I was in a rush, I forgot to take my Clomid. The way I am to do it is take 2 tablets daily days 3-7 of my cycle. Will it be okay to take one as soon as I get home and then take another before bed? If not, shall I just carry on like normal or will it not work now?

Thanks for any replies. I'm really worried now!

I use to take both my tablets together I haven't known to take them apart? Anyhow I'm sure it will be ok if you take them when you get home? My leaflet reads this- "if you forget to take a dosa you should take it on the following day and then continue with your course of therapy. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten tablet" so I'm unsure maybe phone your doc Hun x

I was just told to take two daily, so I presumed one, twice a day. The pharmacy put on the box to take one a day, so when I phoned the hospital to enquire about it they said to take two. I never even thought about whether it would be one twice or two at once! I think I can remember reading that too, but i think taking one at 18:30 and then one just before bed should be okay shouldn't it? It's still the same dosage in one day, it's not like I'm taking 3 days worth in one day as I have missed them or something! X

It'll be fine to take them when you get home. I was told taking them together is better as the higher dose will work more efficiently than taking them separate but all doctors are different and have different opinions.
If you are unsure can you call your doc to see what he suggests? X

I thought that doubling the tablets would be more effective after replying to this earlier. I may do that from now on. They didn't specify either/or, I was just told to take 2. I have today's and tomorrow and then that's my lot for the month. Fingers crossed I haven't fluffed it up. I wish things would be more simple, or things would be explained a little bit better! X
