Found it lower down this time... Not been able to find it for 2 days and was a little nervous! They must wriggle away a lot!

Did u find it on your hair line directly under your belly button?? that's where I get mine xx

Well done. I'm now worried cos I seem to be the only one who hasn't found mine :(

wow thats amazing I thought the heart beat only piks up on a doppler after 12 weeks.

That must be so reassuring. I can't find mine either I'm 11 weeks tomorrow. Kinda regretting buying it so early and trying my hardest not to panic 

I'm worried too. I can't find mine so I've put it away for now.

Which Doppler do you have?

I thought id been finding mine, but my midwife found it more centre, so you must be careful its not the placenta your getting and your own heartbeat, i think im going to leave mine till i go to next app to hear mine incase i hear my own, but she did say my baby moved away as soon as they tried to get it lol xx

Mine is a bebe Doppler. It did take me about 20 minutes to find and I could have missed it so easily. Mine was above my hairline and very slightly to the right... It seemed higher the 1st time I found it. I just kept in one place and pointed it in different directions then if heard nothing I'd move it so slowly and do the same again! I would say it was around 2 inches below my belly button but bear in mind I have a long torso! Couldn't find for 2 days so don't worry if you can't I'm sure the little wrigglers will be detectable soon! X

Forgot to mention I didn't eat before hand as that was causing way too much other noise!! And not a full bladder either... The 2 times I've found HB I've wee'd just before x

I found the hb today  exacty 11 weeks. It was alot lower than I'd been trying, on the left below hairline actually in my pubic area. I found it just after I'd been to the loo after I woke up so also had an empty tummy. It was pretty faint but definately baby because it was more than twice as fast as my own hb exactly like others have said choo choo train like! I have an angel sounds Doppler. Hope this helps someone else. Good luck everyone Persevere and you'll find your LO. X

I'm fighting the urge to buy one right now :haha: But I think it's for the best I avoid them!

I scared myself silly last pregnancy when I couldn't find the HB early on, litterally crying with worry. :nope: Then it wasn't long until I could feel baby move so I never used it then & went on to sell it when LO was born.

Anyone else not going to use one?

ETA: So sorry, I thought I started a new thread asking the above - don't quite know what happened!

Really pleased you managed to find the HB hun, I understand how worrying it is when you can't find it. Congrats!

i still cant find mine :( if you can hear the placenta is that a good sign that things are going ok or does it matter???x

when i was looking i found the HB quite close to the placenta... found mine much quicker this morning... sounds ridiculous but when you find it take a pic or draw a dot lol as its hard to find again! its so so easy to miss... i was in the right spot for 10 minutes today and only found it last minute as i was about to give up... stay close to placenta and I'm sure you'll hear it soon x

i'm pretty sure i could have heard the heartbeat weeks ago but i just wasn't using good technique and was scaring the baby away.
i found the hb close to my pubic bone a little on the left side, wayyy down from my bellybutton. i made sure to go really really slow (i read that it's like shining a light into darkness, you have to go super slow to not scare them away) and it took me a long time to finally recognize the chug chug chug.

take your time, their heartbeat is probably there but it can be really hard to find. don't disappoint or worry yourself too much about it. little bubs will be heard when (s)he wants!
