Frantic movements?

So I was hunched over, sort of squeezing my belly (not THAT bad) and all of the sudden the baby started squirming and wiggling like CRAZY. Like serious spasms I've never felt before. He's fine now...moving like normal and had some hiccups.

I just don't know if this is something normal? Has anyone else experienced this before? I'm worried he wrapped himself up with the umbilical cord, or when I was hunched over maybe I hurt him. I feel so silly for asking this, but I just don't know if its a real concern. Ugh...

I had this early this morning actually. Almost like a violent jerking movement. I was going to call my midwife to double check but my baby has moving normal since, and quite active. If your baby is happily moving around than I wouldn't worry. In my experience so far with all my pregnancies they have their very active moments and sleepy moments. Worth a call if it will ease your mind. Hugs

Thanks! He's been moving a lot since that incident. So...maybe when I was hunched over I really just annoyed him with the cramped tummy area? Lol Who knows...

Mine does this when I hunch over too. I think she just doesn't like the decreased space, as she calms down again when I sit up more.
