FRER - pink strip when pulled apart and also white possible indent line? Help!

Hi all,
I’m currently 13dpo I think, had lots of symptoms on and off (fatigue, extreme thirst, dull cramps, burning in nipples, runny nose, dull headaches, felt like thrush symptoms but not - just to name a few). AF due today or possibly in the next day or two... but I haven’t had the usual dragging feeling I get when I’m a few days out so that’s given me hope! I caved and took a FRER this morning, looked like a BFN but I noticed a white what looks like indent line - is this normal and not indicative of a bfp? Also I took apart the test (I know I know! Couldn’t help it), and noticed a big pink strip in the absobant strip. Need your expertise on what this all means please. I’m expecting it to be nothing.......eek!

It looks like indent line to me. Also, I've heard opening tests invalidates them. Fx you get a bfp soon.

I thought that might be the case. I’ve cracked one open before (POAS junkie, table for one!) and never seen that pink strip before so I got a little hopeful. Not out yet, FX that AF stays away!

The little pink strip is just the dye for the test that the HCG would react to if there is any. You are def not out until AF and unfortunately the white line is just the indent! Good luck hun! Hope you get that BFP real soon!
