Hey hunny, Frimley was my hospital of choice but I've since changed to Royal Surrey based of my friends recent experiences and changing our midwife... long story ! ha.. but my friend had a truely horrfic birth there.. I know it shouldn't but it really did put me off ! But I went on a hospital visit a couple weeks back and the staff seemed very friendly there..

"Maternity services at Frimley Park Hospital have been rated the best in the London and South East region by NHS watchdog the Healthcare Commission."

My sister had her two babies there, and two friends have had each of their two babies there and all had fabulous experiences.

My hubby also spent a month in the hospital after an RTA. I may be biased as my sister is a Sister there working there for over 10 years, but it really is a fab hospital and is where I will be having my baby in June.

The Countess of Wessex, Sophie Rhys-Jones also had both of her babies there :)

Thankyou for that,
I might see you there in June then!

I haven't given birth there (obv) but my ex was born there and I went up there with him when he broke his arm a couple of years ago. I liked it, it was clean, the staff seemed friendly and anyone who I've spoken to about it has had positive things to say. :)

xxx

Hi. I had my son there and i thought they were amazing. It was a concealed pregnancy and i didnt know i was having him until i went into labour but they took it all in their stride and were wonderful with me. I am definetly going back there for this birth x

Hiya, I'm a student nurse and even tho I haven't worked on maternity ward, I was really impressed with how clean they are there!! They have Foundation trust status now which basically means they are very good and have worked hard to get that. My friend had her baby there a few weeks ago and she said how nice all the staff were.

Hope it goes well x

Thankyou! I'm just worried as i have never had to go into hospital before....

Not had any there before, cos this is my first but I'm having her at Frimley Park :D xx

Hey,

I had a Still-Birth there in 2008 (nothing to do with Frimley – my baby got tangled in the cord to tightly when I went into labour at home and died hours before I went in). And even though it was sad circumstances, they were amazing.

We are going back there this time again, they’ve let me see the same consultants, let me have as many scans as I want and they are fine with me saying I wanted an elective c-section this time.

I live in Hants, but I wanted to go there even though it’s in Surrey.

I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else 

I had ava in there :) it was amazing :) so nice! and i was in there for 12 days altogether and they even had looked after ava for me while i had a 2 hour walk around the gardens cos they knew i was so depressed cos all i wanted to do was go home! :( x x
