from first appt to treatment how long? ivf.

from the initial consultation with FS (private) to basically say you want to go forward with IVF, how long does it take?

whats the next step after that etc? how does it work?

I had my first (private) consult on the 26th May, I was then told I had a months wait for a pre-treatment appoaintment with the nurse but luckily got a cancellation and so had that this week. I will start treatment after my next period, so in total for me it will be less than 1 calendar month.
All my tests etc were already complete for first consult.

DH had his SA, HIV, Hep B and Hep C (as required by the clinic for all patients)

I've had
AMH
Day 3 FSH, LH, E2
7DPO progesterone
Antral follicle count and pelvic ultrasound
Hysteroscopy to check uterus
HIV, Hep B and C
Chlamydia
Rubella immunity

I think that's it!

7dpo progesterone wasn't actually needed by the clinic (i'd had it done to confim I O) and the hysteroscopy was just because my ultrasound showed fibroids, if that helps.

It is a lot of tests though yes! Most are blood draws though so done in one 'sitting'

Yes you have about 3 scans I think it is.

Private is around £4000

A sonographer would do the scans I imagine.
