The last couple of days Poppy has started getting really frustrated with my boobs in the evening. Wriggling around alot and bobbing on and off, like she can't get the milk out quickly enough. This evening she's been on my on and off for the last few hours.

She's been piling on the weight in recent weeks which has been great. She also normally feeds more in evenings since she started sleeping through. My OH also gives her one bottle of forumula for her 5am feed to give me a rest, and she;s nearly having a full bottle in the last week - really guzzling it down (which has also tied in with her going through the night. Yay!)

I'm in bed with her now doing skin to skin, as i'm hating seeing her so frustrated earlier. She's wriggling like mad, but i've just checked my boob and still some milk coming out , so not sure what the problem is??

Any tips on how to make her less excitable or frustrated? Or to increase milk supply? I'm so worried my supply is lessening, but don't won't to resort to topping up, as i figure that just adds to the problem...

feeling ill these last few days with really bad cold and high temp. Wonder if that is making a difference??

Isaiah does this when he has wind, gets all frustrated like there's nothing coming out and thrashes his head around. I burp him, pop him back on and he's usually fine x

Sounds windy to me too. If you cant get a burp up you could use Gripe Water. It's only peppermint water but gets good burps up.:D

I'd say definitely wind. Our Poppy used to do this all the time too. Don't be fooled into assuming it's a problem with your supply. x
