I am so frustrated with insurance companies! I had an appointment scheduled with a fertility specialist. The receptionist told me my insurance covered the office visit and any subsequent testing/ultrasounds. I called my insurance company today (2 days before my appointment) to make sure the visit would be covered. Nope, it's not! I had to cancel the appointment because I can't afford the office visit and subsequent testing.
I have been trying for 1 year and 3 months, and I finally got an appointment. Now, I can't even afford it. Why can't insurance companies fork out just a little bit of help??!?
I just had to vent.
