Avery knows how to sign more. It's her favorite sign.

If they come over bringing the tube of mini M&Ms (chocolate) and signing more. What do you do? :haha:

Very cute, but i'd probably say no lol

:) so tempting to say yes... Just because theyve asked so nicely! Im the same when my lo says puleeease.

If its for junk food ill either say this is for mummy/daddy only, or say theres no more but we will need to get some from the shops. Usually those work for us!

It's the same when they learn "ta" they seem to think it means they get what they want. So when they look at you and just say "Ta" it's so hard to resist giving it to them because it's just so darn cute!!

It's tough, my son uses the "more" sign for everything. If he's asking for something I don't want him to have, I just acknowledge that I understood him and say something like "sorry, this isn't for Simon" and then quickly offer an alternative like "would you like some blueberries?". Sometimes he gets upset (briefly), but most of the time he accepts the alternative without a fuss.
