As I put a soother into LOs mouth, he holds my hands to slow me down and then REALLY enjoys having it put in his mouth, he gurgles and sighs and smiles. Makes me smile too xx

That's really cute. He maybe finds it comforting. When I was little I used to love my mum tucking my blankets in and tried to slow her down doing it and sometimes ask her to tuck me in again; I found it really reassuring and relaxing. Maybe this is how your LO feels when you put his dummy in.
